The year has started with mostly family and a few friends. This has been good, but getting out in the mountains is something I have been needing more of! The Outdoor Retailer has taken up the past week non-stop. I am exhausted, but some really exciting progressions have been made on a few fronts and I can’t wait for the rest of the years adventures to start unfolding. Here are a couple photos from the show.

This painting was divided amongst some donators, raising over $10,000(?) for Protect Our Winters! Incredible work..

It was amazing to see Chris Boyes again after 2 years of him making some big progress – his project is now National Geographic’s second highest funded project. He was at the show completing the last of the $27,000,000 of funding needed to continue mapping the river systems in the Okavango region. In-between dancing, axe throwing, coffees, beers, and trying countless new products and eating all the samples, we SOMEHOW got some work done – on-boarding with new sponsors, making some sales for Morsel Spork, and trying to keep up with all the new contacts. Above, we are at Helly Hansen’s after party…throwing real axes at targets in cages. So much fun and so great to make some new friends.

So yeah – this place is WAY Overwhelming and I am so grateful to be back out in the mountains, attending the Snow-Show part of the week. Below, Anders @FulFrame shreds with some incredible new Majesty skies with me. I might be in love 😉 …with the skis that is. <3 U Tho Anders

But I am seriously grateful to be able to have access to some of the best tech in the industry and try out all the latest gear. Super inspiring, I mean look at this place!!!

Thats all for now. Tomorrow is the last day of the show and we’ll be up sking at Copper Mountain, Colorado. After that it will be a few days off in the mountains.

Blue skies and Happy Trails <3
